My little corner of Britain

I do not know about you but I have a corner on our good old world where I feel particularly well, where I take refuge when fatigue and weariness assails me.
This corner is my little corner of Britain.

I can go there as often as I would, alas, between 2 and 4 times a year at most. I arrived yesterday and I found little pleasure in our room decor.

From my side, some executives with reproductions:
- a superb post-Gir Moebius with the arrival of Blueberry and his acolytes in the small city of Chihuahua. The atmosphere of dusk is beautifully rendered.
- on an easel, reproduction large size of the coverage of Tardi made for the death of Franquin (January 1997)
- by land, a poster for the festival André Juillard Perros-Guirrec.

On the bedside table, Kauffmann's book on the Antarctic has taken its place (those who follow me understand).

the other side of the room, a library that I installed last summer, and next to which I just installed - framed - an original panel of Adler ( René Sterne) which skirts a few inches so the version of paper (in the Ultimate Adler). What a splendid with this first box worked very seaplane on a lake in Malaysia!

When you open the large skylight in the room, take a nice whiff of iodine (the sea is at 1 km).
In such a setting, the mind is in good condition for reverie, contemplation, serenity.

creeping Megalomania (part 2)

As a year ago, here I am ironing on Photofunia hatched a couple of fun photos.
The third is really great, with the work done by the software to model the contour of the face, and the possibility to a text that seems really chalked!

Le Gall: an adventure

This great length while drawing Frank Le Gall for his series "Theodore Chick" (superb series, moreover, I recommend) asked me problem for quite some years .

Buy
there a dozen years in a sale at Drouot "Bubbles at Drouot" be organized by Frédéric Bosser, and I'm happy that he found the scene of the hearings, very decorative, exotic, in the spirit of the series. First

error: I leave in its original frame (low-end) and in a room bathed in sunlight, while I realize later on that signature is felt . If the ink does not fear much, felt so poor! Felt starts with yellow and then disappears.

Second mistake: I became aware of after my first mistake, after 3 or 4 years, change the drawing room to put it in a darker spot (the intention was good). But put the bottom part of the range on a wall that was slightly damp , while the back of the framing is a simple cardboard held with pins, not waterproof.

Result: 2 years ago, I noticed that the paper was plagued with horrible spots, stains, fungi, paper is "stung" What!

How?
The idea of leaving the work to deteriorate I did not like because it seems that the fungus grew and eventually would irreparably damage the design.
So I decided to attack!

First to restore the paper through Marie-Laure de Lapérouse , (not that it occurred but she knows people in the trade). Great job that has virtually removed all the tasks without damaging the design. I do not know exactly how they do, I think they spend a lotion to the back of the paper that aspires fungi.
Then he landed another problem: that of the signature. As the conservator did not want to tamper with the signature (in truth, I do not know if I would have the opportunity to resign), the paper around the signature remained piqued.

You can see above the status of signature and foxing of paper! As

Gallery Petits Papiers organized these days an exhibition Frank Le Gall, I was at the opening to re-sign Le Gall in another part of the drawing, which required that this tiny piece j'ampute right.
The signature was made this time with a permanent marker of quality because the author can hardly sign in ink as I had explained in our correspondence: "the reason I rarely sign pen, and my signature is that it does not agree. I can not sign soon, and my pen stops or crackles in every corner of my "L "..."

In reviewing the drawing, Gall said that the characters on the far left was a self-portrait of the time! Just like Hergé who drew the crowd in the hearing "Ottokar's Sceptre" ...

I then completed my project by reframing the work in a long-Nielsen, Bricorama any beast, with a master tailor-made. I think it makes good.

Uhf Antenna Balun Transformator

Black Orchid Voile de Fleur. Tom Ford.

1978, I'm a girl so very impressionable, especially astounded and amazed by two features.

The first: "The Incredible Shrinking Man", to me forever when I am unwell in the presence of a spider size August ...

The second: "The Wizard of Oz," I certainly confirmed in my kindness for road movies. The four lovable sidekicks tirelessly following (on foot of course ...) the yellow brick road to the castle of the Wizard of Oz pathetic, I was transported with joy! For years I was faithful to the position (TV) as Dorothy and the ugly, unpalatable Witch of the West to the pointed end of ... their glittering ruby slippers!

What link is there between Black Orchid Voile de Fleur (2007) and this little preamble?

My reference to The Wizard of Oz was born from the spray of the cologne because I had the wonderful sensation of floating above the meadow of flowers, wonderfully fragrant sparkling staging the late movie, but which is nothing but a trap "toxic and soporific" the witch. (But no, I assure you I do not drink my perfume and my only Opium by Yves St Laurent!).

Topping and then my nose, a clear dominance of honeysuckle and gardenia emerges. A sensation of fullness olfactory won me for a few tens of seconds! The flowers are gay, petulant, like freshly picked Hume or the hour when the sun does not heat up even their dress.

In a very smooth fading is achieved the next step. The flowers appear white BOVdF caramelize as licked by the sun. These same clusters previously mutineers and perennials languish under the heat of the beautiful star break, so I feel fruity notes of plums, but also advanced timidly tart (currant?).

I won, although for now I am just describing what I often blame: the famous floral-fruity, "freut-fluiré" if ... groovy! Anyway ... It has a je ne sais quoi that attracts me ...(!)

time to make sure that this fragrance appeals to me, approach notes more spicy (black pepper? Cinnamon?) , all takes a soft consistency, thick, the flowers are almost vanished, giving way to a sort of exhalation plum pie topped with creamy vanilla shy but ... What magic!

Thus, moving from one flower to a stunning mid-greedy thick, spicy, vanilla .... smoothly in absolute serenity.

If this water is probably appeals to me because in my mind, I found an affinity with Coco Chanel perfume.
few commonalities between them: floral-oriental, spicy, balms .... Their differences complement each other: While Coco perfume is thriving in the cool and cold seasons, might be BOVdF for his impulsive and summer.

Her outfit is copy, but its pretty heady wake does not suffer from the heat.

I just read the "composition" of this eau de toilette: insufficiently sharpened my nose does not seem to recognize the black truffle, black orchid, lotus wood, patchouli ... These same notes are based probably imperceptibly at all, to reach this beautiful and sexy water "good mood".
I do not feel the slightest notion of obscurity (despite the black bottle and all the blacks of the recipe ...). Quite the contrary ....
Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly, And The Dreams That You Dreamed of, dreams really do come true ...

Notes: black truffle, ylang-ylang, bergamot, black currant, honeysuckle, gardenia, lily spicy, black orchid, black plum, black pepper, lotus wood, succulent fruit, hot milk, cinnamon , vanilla, patchouli, balsam, sandalwood.

Is The Arc Trainer Calorie Count Accurate

Homme sweet OM

Flying over the few pages of this blog, I realize how much these gentlemen are left behind. So gentlemen, if you happen to get lost here, please not to hold it against me too ... So would I like this list and easily, a few men's fragrances that moved me, marked the course of my forty odd years.

A paternal scent first. A fragrance that "feels good dad" since ... forever! True to its fragrance over the years but never dared to wear a different fragrance. Petit papa
moving, little doctor for my heart, dad bringing For Men Caron every day and forever. A lavender dry crushed under the fingers, under a burning sun, she is enveloped by a sweet vanilla and creamy ... A perfume that smells kiss! Last year in strolling around fragrant, I had the pleasure of discovering Impact For Men : a more dense and close to a formula "from" Toward a Male .. A pure miracle, a real velvet lavender, creamy, warm ...

teenager, I fell in love with Black Drakkar that many friends were wearing. A height that I need not say without blushing: I was so fallen in love with the toilet water, that I had offered a bottle. I loved wearing this water resolutely masculine, very "cash," its synthetic lavender and hints of "severely burnées" helped (yes!) to my current interest in perfumes ... A perfume to my nose, refers to the insolence of youth, the backfiring of the 103 Sport Kite "! Then there was
Polo Ralph Lauren , green notes galore, pines and conifers, fresh a bit harsh, like sheets dried in the sun of the highest peaks ... Vosges! A perfume that smells of complicity, a great joy!
Gentleman Givenchy and metallic notes, his heady patchouli but without ever losing an ounce of elegance. An urban-chic fragrance.

Grey Flannel Geoffrey Beene I discovered with my friend Monique, and then we wore them both, leave us well in that era will tell you one ... I must say that Grey flannel and its dominant note of iris / violet is not really true to the idea that you can do about the masculine scent of the 80 ... Water is a dandy, a delicate fragrance that looks like Rupert Everett ....

It happened to me once or twice, falling off in the street, simply by crossing a passing ...
knees, arms outstretched in front of the startled nobody, I implored me to reveal the name of her perfume ... No, of course not! But I was spinning at all speed (locked in his wake my memory) came to the first perfume, to uncover the obscure object of desire: My investigations were long and sometimes painful but that is how I "became acquainted" with the sublime Habit Rouge Chanel and Guerlain Mr. .

Most recently in Strasbourg, I was surprised to find a bottle of handkerchief Mr. Guerlain's Spring ... A lavender vanilla yet, but so sweet, so powdery, so educated ... His love and light me upset. Alas held its leaves a bit to be desired, you it seems ...

Other pretty things "You men (!)" (In my taste of course ...): The Love Potion No. 9 LP of Penhaligon's where The ylang ylang, iris, spices, vanilla and patchouli make it a real love potion indeed ... aphrodisiac (at least I think, have felt the touch on only), but I think it is unfortunately discontinued.
Dior Homme (felt only on key, too), or the scrolls of an iris powder, subtle and sophisticated, and whose base notes are a bit leathery a marvel.

Ambre Sultan Serge Lutens too warm, resinous, lush ... An invitation
the dance of seven veils "
Terre d'Hermès, a beautiful "already-classic". An interesting building fresh, citrusy, woody, slightly leathery substance.

That gentlemen, some of my favorites masculine fragrance. But I remain convinced, however, that the argument "fragrance for men" occurred purely "marketing".
You have probably beginning to suspect, I fervently defend the idea that fragrances do not have sex! It is what we love. Point. A
your atomizers gentlemen!

Asain Abused In Train

factory output by Gilles Dauvé & Karl Nesic

Factory Outlet Dauvé & Gilles Karl Nesic
Several of our texts ( We'll have to wait , 2002, The Call of the vacuum , 2004, and 2007 Tomorrow, storm. Essay on a crisis that has ) have the advantage of having been written before the crisis and announced. Their analysis is summarized in Zone Storm (2009):

In 1980, capital has taken its revenge on the labor unrest of the 60s and 70s. But this victory, based on a systematic decline in costs has led a series of imbalances worsen each other: tertiary maximum rejection of manufacturing as far as possible, to Asia; competition without safeguards, including state, domination of finance over the industry; illusion of sharing the world with booking the intangible powers that be, and confining the newly industrializing economies in production; wage deflation, and deflation at all, masked by the movement of mad money, all powered by unbridled expansion of credit.

While these imbalances not sufficient to initiate a capitalist triumph much deeper than we think: restructuring and unemployment have come to be accepted, almost nobody is talking about revolution, at best we want to reform and democratize, but certainly not beyond capitalism, each he welcomes increased communication tools in fifteen years become almost unquestioned prostheses. Nevertheless, this growth is based on drugged structural contradictions that since 2008 the economy merely reveal.

The merit of the stress is thin, as others we have described: to limit ourselves to France, J.-L. Gréau but also G. Dumenil and D. Levy, M. Husson, P. Artus, M. Aglietta, I. Joshua D. Cohen ... You can also read Marx overaccumulation in Book III of Capital (Chapter XV, in terms of Engels, X in Mr. Rubel).

Sterilization Or Dishwasher Baby

Orange Blossom Serge Lutens

April 1st yet winter continues ... I just need to listen to the depths of my green land, to hear the rumblings of a rising cohort of unanimous votes, expressing rage with some, dissatisfaction weather room. No longer, I join the cloud and vocal percussion!
YES! Tired! Stop! Enough! Ras-le-bol! We stuffed ourselves with cold Wind, rain, icy wind, rain, nose runny, thermometers that climb!
scat! The brooms! Get out! Get out! Releases! Dirty rotten time, moldy!
Fire (it will also go in the closet ...) coats, jackets, trench coats, socks and other wool llama!
We want the sun! A warm and gentle breeze that creeps into our hair and light clothing. We want to purr, we stretch in the heat, grill over low heat behind the windows of our vehicles.

Until Mother Nature wants to honor our good wishes, it remains for us to do "as if!
Once the leap your door, you can if you want, wear your bathing suit, make yourself a pina colada and then in the same vein, put on your flip flops, your latest Ray Ban, and finally to lie languidly on the sofa. A distracted eye on the Travel Channel and the other dull, on Here-That-Galagala! ... and sigh (sneeze a bit too ...) all your home!

Or ... My little solution, simpler, faster (... and a bit less ridiculous): Leave your cabinets one of the most effective weapons that is in terms of evocation: The Fragrance. Whatever you wear in summer, when it's hot, or he who awakens you the hottest images from your directory and calientes fantasy! Today I chose

Orange Blossom Serge Lutens (founded in 1995 by Christopher Sheldrake and Serge Lutens).

A touch of the index on the spray and I am transported through the famous "space-time vector" Serge Lutens! I am now in a patio light, warm, surrounded by a heady jasmine and night but also with orange blossoms whose perfume exudes notes mischievous but so tame as emboldened by tuberose. A stunning start! Radiant, cheerful, sensuous, cool!
Printing Mediterranean destination is immediate!

The next phase is always white but more warm and there is fixed a spicy, a little wild, "animalizes" sexualized and a tad of white flowers. There are notes of cumin (Lutensian familiar in the universe, there is the arrogance masked sweat cumin Femininity in the Wood, Arabia and El Attarine particular) and nutmeg. On the skin osmosis is grandiose: Dry heat was the sensation of moving to a soft moisture ...

Notes "final" are unfortunately less remarkable in the sense that I find them more muted. They simply vanish in the reminiscent of a sweet jasmine and sage.

Anyway, Orange Blossom Serge Lutens my nose is one of the few bottles to bring the sun and escape him. Sun gay, sensual, warm, floral, spicy, vibrant.

His dress is excellent and its powerful wake. Normal is the Lutens!

I am, however, been told that Orange Blossom was also reformulated ... Me, I'm talking about a time that children under 5 years may not know, Orange Blossom in that time ... (My being decanted from a bottle pre-reformulation.)

It seems since 2005, aficionadas not found over the same footprint sensual and disturbing past. The new formula is agreed at their noses more and more wise.
But I trust Mr. Lutens, it is not the man to vandalize his work. The reformulation must surely be more than acceptable.

Well, I'll have to check it soon ...!
