La Mia Vita Su Piccoli aerei by Insula Dulcamara
"Insula Dulcamara " is originally the title of a painting by Paul Klee . Name evoking an island, but also referring to the dichotomy of sweet (dulce) and bitter (amarus). In perfect harmony with this evocation, this group develops a lively music but not without some bitterness. The origin of this second album, two instrumental tracks for the soundtrack of the second part of the documentary " (g) General Dreams" by Daniele De Felice and Matthieu Chatellier. Then added three titles before departure (temporary?) Sergio Salvi (keyboards) and Roberto Nappi (drums). An EP that explores more acoustic side of Insula Dulcamara. An EP of songs of love, in its broadest sense possible. Lively, as opposed to veiled atmosphere of "La Mia Vita Su Piccoli aerei," "The Inchiostro Peggiore" is the album of my favorite Insula Camara. A mix of everything I love: New Orleans jazz piano, blues-rock to Tom Waits noisy, gypsy jazz, jazz-rock, Latin-jazz together in a real explosion of inventions promising. Stivali di Gomma e Proiettili Argento opens the door to this world apart, the small world of Insula Dulcamara, peopled with Fellini and fantastic appearances. Songs of loneliness, disappointed love and friendships lost. We imagine a world populated by bars in music, circuses and orchestras and streets where one walks with great pleasure, carried by a warm voice and a rare poetry. In this captivating world where the grotesque beauty cotoie most luminous landscape of shadows pale gleams night crossings, it chimerical visions to dream and fleeting, strangely charmed by a spirit of derision melancholy and profoundly human.
Best Way To Steambath
Unfaced The Album by Organic Despair
Formerly " Jesus Christ First " Organic Despair is known for using these compositions tortured waves methodically one indefinable malaise and disturbing, even traumatic, carried by a dark triphop desperate. The beginning of the year 2009 was marked by the release of this album impeccably dressed in a beautiful photograph disturbing and enigmatic album of undeniable maturity. Difficult choices of compositions and incredibly accomplished sound research, conducted with exemplary insight, and a beautiful song both voice in the interpretation immediately generate enthusiasm ... the 6 tracks are flawless in every respect, rich in finds perfectly consistent. The short introduction alone is a marvel of electro alive and sensitive. 'Breath ' chained in this fashion with a beginning and saturated with melancholy hovering, ground based synth with the voice in the meantime that seems to stand still, dark and painful. We think a little passages of Animals' by Pink Floyd (Sheep), but the evocative power is much higher. Before completion, a few notes of flute, superbly well-chosen, brings what should be weary of derision. ' Hallu ', in a warm ethereal jazz-rock, offers a particularly good mix of voice that plays all the possible inflections, diction between tragic, desperate monologue and song evoking Léo Ferré or David Bowie. The general atmosphere of the song although heavy, is extremely delicate. Just then, Jazz ', a title that begins as an arpeggio atonality of Leonard Cohen until a string ensemble invade the space of their complaints nostalgic. The harmonies are incredible this title. 'Massive destruction web with rhythmic and opaque atmosphere, swept to deep shadows, between which the voice seems to flow with sensuality. 'I hope you'll never back as primer for a return to more darkness, after a languid start, accompanying a song in weightlessness, the flute returns to disseminate this title almost playful jazzy harmonies, melancholy multiplying effect previously developed. 'Goodbye ' finish this album so wonderful, black and stifling any horizon seems to have disappeared, wandering absurd in a vortex inside and no end to the final detonation ...

Liquid Cooled Engines Disadvantages
The Black House by Oscar Brent
Warning: many influences! Imagine a cousin of Art Mengo , a distant descendant Armstrong or Captain Beefheart, the illegitimate son of an unlikely marriage between Tom Waits and Charlélie Couture ... as if Oscar had met Brent in his name all the spells and vocal music that none of them separately would have never realized. It began with a series of albums with hearts full of promises which Bruno Stimart, songwriter living in Namur, Belgium (Wallonia) have looked long and tenaciously. There was, therefore, during this long period "there" (Op. 1-5), then the double album "After more than this", "Journey on a wave of love", as well as two collaborations more successful with Maya de Luna before the coming of "Surveillance Cameras Show," a song made for those who discover it for the first time the effect of an electro-shock: a new name, a new voice, a new style ... Bruno Stimart suddenly faded, giving way to Oscar Brent ... The album was released initially on Jamendo demo, as singles: 6 rare gems that were to savor one by one, the artist who could then give us a better understanding of the uniqueness of these parts, delivering them in the form of "box" separate (single virtual wallet declined in a minimalist setting for each class as expected and a sublime album in progress). Pure wonders orchestration, chiselled and worked with an unmatched mastery without unnecessary effects, no overload, without a single error of taste. Proof of uncommon talent, but also of humility and simplicity of soul that was to the credit of that poet-songwriter-musician-performer. I wondered at the time on the tour de force that was undeniable align 6 songs sublime, each rising to the same standards as the previous one with a constant unstoppable. Then came " darkroom " final version of the album with the resumption of the six previous demos + 5 bonus tracks, 11 songs in a dark beauty and biting you grasped the heart and soul and do let loose even more after listening completed. 11 tracks that leave their indelible imprint in your ears willing from the first hearing ...

Compositions Audiovisu'Elle ... by Sydney Poma
This French pianist and composer, residing in Paris, writes and performs music very internalized, highly subjective, subtly evocative, inspired by intimate emotions she is trying to convey with accuracy, giving each time a great importance on protecting the image and theme. For her, audiovisual composition must be a reflection of the actor's performance, and develop as an evidence against the feelings of the viewer. This album appears dressed in an image that was originally a mini-debate when it was released on Jamendo . This portrait front almost deranged, Perhaps because he was too kind, too direct, and that many would have liked more abstraction. But the drive was about to take a good listener to encounter inner feelings alive, moving, and close a newspaper perceived as a Eric Rohmer . The first thing that strikes me is that look, bright, full, carried high, driven by a hope, an expectation that monopolizes the attention immediately, and I wonder each time what they watch, they eyes, with so much attention and sincerity. This photograph, perfect, timeless, perfectly illustrates the contents of the album and has established itself as being an ideal visual translation. When the music is entitled to genuine compositions, sensitive and modest, and God knows where, the theme was dicey. It was tempting to indulge in sentimentality and syrupy sadness, the effects are easy ... And it is here that reveals all the qualities of the work. Sydney Poma has continually find the exact distance with his subject to captivate us and never put ourselves in a situation of voyeurism. There is a ceaseless play and very fine line between what she chooses to say and what she chooses to hide a sense of musical metaphor extremely driven and gives much depth under these headings. And then there's this desire especially to surprise the listener, to take him there or he was not expecting it, not give him exactly what he expects ... and this ability to invent the new themes is necessarily tainted the mark of a great talent .. There are a lot of classical musicians on Jamendo, I think few of them know reach this level of requirement. A another album follow, though not equally successful with no narrative coherence of the first. Slightly different also in the process, touching the emotions without abandoning them (less evocative, further illustration). we note on this second album 'Magic Box ' gift very very strange and intriguing, 'Blood ' gravity subtle borrows. And above all three titles reconnect with the special sensitivity of the previous album. 'Auschwitz ' or you feel deep pain incredulous question, ' wimming Pool ' disturbing light passing through transparency and ineffable ' About me' which is a delightful charmer your time to a few short confidences.
