Rayquaza In Pokemon Deluge

Visiting Beb-Deum

Beb-Deum is one of those artists who did not - in my opinion - the reputation it deserves in the public. And yet ... we are stuck by their designs for the covers of Telerama, The XXI or inrocks ... not forgetting his work 80 years with particular Dionnet.
Since he works only in digital, it's for fans and collectors of impressive runs in Lambda diasec (brilliant film) mounted on an aluminum frame. When I say they are impressive, but also by their format: 80x100 for example, sometimes more. You have to have great walls!
There are usually three and only three original versions, which the artist adds various highlights that make each piece a unique work.

Last Saturday, the opportunity given me to meet Beb-Deum in his studio in Auvers-sur-Oise, just beside the famous church immortalized by Van Gogh. The man is affable, courteous, somewhat shy. Looking in its folders, I came across a few little gems, including a draft poster for the exhibition at the Galerie Suty he kindly offered me. As my oldest son was there, I reminded Beb-Deum what I said in the previous section : Children are like magnets for his drawings, he would then feel symbolically the time with uncommon accuracy. Moreover, his book-sum Facebox is one of only books in which my children regularly dive back home ... A smile, I suspect that I was not the first to tell him.

In the next auction of prestige at Millon, there are very successful in this visual Lady Gaga, who was recently a cover Inrocks. And as rightly said Jacques de Loustal in the luxurious catalog "Beb-Deum (...) has kept the identity of the universe and book today stunning icons to describe the modern world with an offbeat science of digital tool that is breathtaking ".

A look: the official site, and a beautiful page with work highlights .
